Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & KYC Policy

Last Updated: July 12, 2026

BirdSMS is committed to the highest standards of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance and requires management and employees to adhere to these standards to prevent the use of our services for money laundering or terrorist financing purposes.

1. Policy Objective

The objective of this policy is to actively prevent money laundering and any activity that facilitates money laundering or the funding of terrorist or criminal activities.

2. Know Your Customer (KYC)

While we respect user privacy, BirdSMS monitors account activities for suspicious patterns. We reserve the right to request Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation (such as Government ID and Proof of Address) if we detect:

  • Unusually large deposits or withdrawal volumes.
  • Transactions originating from high-risk jurisdictions.
  • Suspicious account behavior or multiple accounts accessed from the same device/IP.

3. Monitoring and Reporting

All financial transactions (deposits and withdrawals) are logged and monitored automatically by our security systems. Suspicious activities will be investigated and, if necessary, reported to the relevant financial authorities.

4. Prohibited Jurisdictions

BirdSMS does not accept funds or provide services to individuals or entities located in jurisdictions prohibited by international sanctions or the FATF (Financial Action Task Force) blacklist.

5. Account Freezing and Confiscation

If an account is reasonably suspected of being involved in money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illegal activities, BirdSMS reserves the right to immediately freeze the account, block withdrawals, and confiscate funds pending a full investigation.

6. Compliance Training

All BirdSMS staff members responsible for handling transactions or customer support undergo training to identify and report suspicious activities.
